You’ve decided to attend the 57th Grand Convent and Investiture in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. You’ve registered for the event or will very soon. Perhaps you have even reserved your hotel room and arranged for transportation to Milwaukee. The next logical question is how do you get to the Pfister Hotel? Answer: you can drive, fly, take a train or a bus. Here’s how you get there:

From General Mitchell International Airport

Shuttle
Shared van service from the General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee to the Pfister Hotel is provided by Go Riteway. You may make a reservation by clicking on Go Riteway, by going to www.goriteway.com, by calling 414-570-5200 / 800-236-5450, or in person at the Baggage Claim reservation desk.

Taxi
There is also a taxi stand outside of Baggage Claim 3. After exiting the building, cross the roadway and look for the taxi stand in the next lane. The typical fare between the airport and downtown Milwaukee is around $25 one-way.

Uber or Lyft
Both Uber and Lyft – two ride-sharing services with a national presence — are permitted to pick up passengers next to Baggage Claim 2. Exit Baggage Claim and look for the “Exit to Ticketing” signs.

Rental Car
Eight rental-car agencies with counters at Mitchell International Airport are inside the airport, which means you don’t have to hop a shuttle after your long flight. The agencies are Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar Car Rental, Enterprise, Hertz, National, and Thrifty.

After you’ve grabbed your luggage at Baggage Claim, walk across the street towards the parking structure. In the ground level are the rental-car agencies.

Overnight self-parking at the Pfister Hotel has been discounted to $20/vehicle/day. See the Driving section of this article for directions to the hotel via car.
