Chvse. Kathleen Watson
Grand Inspector

An OSMTH Poetry Contest was announced in the Spring issue of the OSMTH Carpe Diem. The contest is open to all members of OSMTH Grand Priories. The Grand Prior of France recently reminded all the Grand Priors of the contest. Take the time to read the announcement and then put your poetry thinking cap on and enter the contest. GPUSA can be well-represented with our talented poets!

  Calling All Templar Poets

Knights and Dames, according to various googled sources about open rates and click-through rates, what SMOTJ experiences is "outstanding" at close to 48% of recipients opening the Templar Times email. Industry trend for non-profits for open rate is 25.13%. So, here are the stats from the email distribution tool for 2020 emails:

  • delivered seventeen communications successfully to an average 1,475 recipients (Priories have been notified of invalid/bounced email addresses)
  • the highest read was the 2020 Grand Convent at 59.01% of recipients who opened the email. Recipients reopened a total of 3,856 times
  • Unusual statistic for unusual times!

According to the website statistics (where the Templar Times resides), for first six months of 2020, there were 2,552 unique visitors who visited 4,045 times and opened 6,452 pages, making the Templar Times a great PR vehicle for SMOTJ members! Keep reading and be sure to share your issue with Priory postulants or interested parties!
